Our Bidi Kaatasjiny Campus is our Offsite Early Learning Site located at the end of Fairmount Boulevard, Brabham. Bidi Kaatadjiny means "Journey of Knowledge" in Noongar.
This name reflects the site’s purpose as a place of learning, growth, and connection. The name was chosen through a successful community consultation process that encouraged Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander parent involvement, ensuring that the new site is culturally safe, appropriate, and reflective of the community it serves. We prioritised representing and considering our families’ perspectives well before the project’s completion, reinforcing our commitment to inclusivity and respect.
Our 3-year-old pre-Kindy program is designed to help prepare those little minds and bodies for Kindergarten. Our Pre-Kindy based curriculum is prepared and delivered by our qualified Early Childhood Teachers and promotes school readiness for your child ensuring a smooth transition.
We believe that children learn best when:
• They feel comfortable and secure.
• They use play to learn new experiences and understanding.
• They have opportunities to participate in group learning activities.
• The curriculum is meaningful, relevant and multi-sensory in nature.
Little bodies need to move and we believe that building core strength and the development of gross and fine motor skills are best done through play-based activities. Bidi Explorers program focuses on delivering play-based learning through music, art and outdoor adventures. We have built a calm, inspiring environment that allows your children to feel safe, make friends and grow in confidence.
