STUDENT WELLBEING

Our goal is to promote an inclusive and resilient learning community where every child, staff member and family can feel safe and supported.

Effective relationships and partnerships promote positive outcomes for students and is central to everything we do. We care for all and promote a strong commitment to continually developing a ‘high care’ culture that responds to the needs of students, staff, parents and carers.

Brabham Primary School is committed to identifying students at risk and addressing their needs as early as possible, to ensure that every student achieves to their full potential. We have a dedicated team who manage our Tiered Response to Intervention. This is a multi-tier approach to the early identification and supports students with learning, engagement and behaviour needs. In addition, the team provide a high level of support to staff and families to identify referral pathways and provide teaching and learning strategies.

'THE RESILIENCE PROGRAM'

At Brabham Primary School, we are proud to incorporate The Resilience Project into our teaching and learning. This evidence-based program focuses on building resilience and positive mental health through the core principles of Gratitude, Empathy, and Mindfulness (GEM). By embedding these principles into our daily practices, we aim to equip students with the skills to thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. We believe fostering resilience is essential in supporting our students to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and optimism, ensuring they grow into well-rounded and happy individuals.
