Brabham Primary School is located on Lakefield Drive in Brabham. It is a local area intake school, which means we have a defined catchment area which is allocated by the Education Department. Families that do not reside within the catchment area are still welcome to complete an application form, however approval will be at the discretion of the Principal, based on class numbers.

1. Enrolment Form

2. Original Documents
When enrolling bring the following original documents along with the enrolment form to the Administration Office between 8.30am - 3.30pm, Monday - Friday.
Proof of address
Ø Primary document - Most recent shire rate notice or current rental agreement (with a minimum of 12 months tenancy from date of enrolment).
Ø Plus a water, electricity or gas bill as well.
Original birth certificate
Ø Your child’s original birth certificate.
Original documents need to be sighted and as such no email applications will be accepted, unless currently living outside of Western Australia or in a remote region.
3. Immunisation Records
The school must sight a recent copy of each student's AIR Immunisation History Statement at the time of enrolment. The statement needs to say (up to date) on the top of the statement. The (as at) date can not be older than 2 months at time of submitting application.
The quickest way to get your child's statement is by using your Medicare online account.
4. Health Conditions
If you child has a medical or health condition – please advise the Administration Officer when submitting your enrolment form. This will ensure we have all the correct procedures in place to assist your child. .
5. Overseas Students
Students who are not Australian Citizens must present their passport and visa grant notice at the time of enrolment. Some students on visas will be required to enrol through TAFE International WA. Brabham Primary School is currently not able to accommodate international students. https://www.tafeinternational.wa.edu.au
6. Overseas Parents
If your child is born in Australia but both parents are born overseas, we will require a copy of the child’s Australian passport or parents’ citizenship documents to determine if the child is eligible for Australian citizen. 7. Special Needs
Parents/carers of students with special needs are asked to contact the school at the time of enrolment, to discuss their child’s unique requirements. This will ensure that the most appropriate program is put in place to meet the needs of your child.
8. Student Records / Information
It is important that parents/carers advise the school immediately if there are changes of address, telephone number, emergency contacts or medical details. This will ensure that the welfare of all students is given the highest priority, especially in times of urgency.
9. Access Restrictions
Parents/carers are reminded that the School Education Act 1999 obliges parents/carers to inform schools of any family court orders or other orders which are applicable to their children. The school must sight the original documents and all details are treated in the strictest confidence. Any changes to orders must be provided to the school as soon as possible.
